The Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (Fama) is positioning buffer stocks across its warehouse network nationwide as meteorological forecasts warn of intensifying El Niño conditions. Fama's stockpiling strategy encompasses key food commodities typically affected by prolonged dry weather patterns associated with El Niño phenomena.
