Felcra Berhad has been instructed to shoulder all tuition costs for high-achieving children of scheme participants following their performance in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) examinations. Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi announced the initiative in Melaka on Tuesday, positioning it as part of broader efforts to support educational mobility within the participant community. The scheme targets students who demonstrate academic excellence at both secondary and pre-university levels, removing financial barriers to additional learning support. The tuition sponsorship represents an expansion of Felcra's social support programmes and reflects government focus on nurturing talent within the organisation's beneficiary base. Felcra, which manages agricultural land schemes across Malaysia, currently serves thousands of participants and their families.
