Veteran filmmaker Kuku Kohli, known for directing some of Hindi cinema's notable works, died on Tuesday following a cardiac episode. He was 77.

Kohli is best remembered for helming 'Phool Aur Kaante,' the 1994 action thriller that proved to be the launching pad for actor Ajay Devgn's successful film career.
