Fintech firm Lxme becomes title sponsor of Indian Women's League

Lxme has secured the title sponsorship rights for the Indian Women's League, reinforcing corporate backing for India's premier women's football competition. The fintech company's multi-year commitment arrives as the league gears up for its upcoming 2026-27 season, scheduled to commence on November 13.

The sponsorship deal underscores growing commercial interest in Indian women's football. This latest partnership follows Capri Sports' recently concluded 15-year commercial agreement with the All India Football Federation (AIFF), which had structured previous iterations of the league's operations.

Eight clubs are preparing to compete in the forthcoming season, with the league continuing to establish itself as a platform for developing women's footballers in the country. The new sponsorship is expected to bolster resources for player development, infrastructure, and competitive standards across participating teams.

The announcement reflects broader momentum in Indian women's sports, where increased corporate investment has begun translating into enhanced visibility and professional structures across various disciplines.
