FIR filed against MP's son in fatal Hyderabad supercar collision

A fatal traffic accident in Hyderabad has resulted in criminal proceedings against Lingmaneni Sanjush, the son of Andhra Pradesh Member of Parliament Lingmaneni Ramesh. The incident involved a speeding Aston Martin that struck a woman, resulting in her death. Police investigation confirmed that Sanjush was operating the vehicle at the time of the collision.
Following their inquiry, law enforcement authorities registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused under Section 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which addresses causing death by negligence. The case was filed at a Hyderabad police station as investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident progressed.
The incident has drawn attention to road safety concerns in the city, particularly regarding speeding vehicles. Authorities are continuing their examination of the matter as legal proceedings commence against the accused.
