PUTRAJAYA — The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department has activated 153 firefighters and paramedics along with 12 assets, including medevac teams and buses, to provide comprehensive emergency coverage during the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The deployment reflects the department's comprehensive approach to safeguarding spectators, participants and personnel at the high-profile international racing event. The contingent of officers and personnel has been strategically positioned to ensure rapid response to any emergencies that may arise throughout the duration of the competition.
Beyond firefighting capabilities, the mobilisation includes dedicated medevac units equipped to handle medical emergencies, alongside support vehicles positioned to facilitate swift evacuation if required.
