A fire broke out in a flat in Choa Chu Kang, prompting a significant emergency response and mass evacuation of the residential building. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) attended the scene and worked to contain and extinguish the blaze.
Two occupants were evacuated from the affected unit before SCDF personnel arrived at the location. Both individuals were subsequently transported to hospital for treatment, though their current conditions were not immediately disclosed.
