Fire at NAFA Workshop Prompts Precautionary Evacuation of Campus Wing
The Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts evacuated approximately 50 people from one wing of its campus following a fire at the institution's workshop on Tuesday. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Emergency responders attended the scene at the academy's workshop, where the fire broke out during operating hours. As a precautionary measure, staff and students in the affected campus wing were safely evacuated while fire safety procedures were activated.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) attended to the incident and worked to contain and extinguish the fire. Authorities have not yet disclosed details regarding the fire's cause or the extent of damage to the workshop facilities.
NAFA, one of Singapore's leading arts institutions, continued operations in other areas of the campus during the evacuation. The academy's management is cooperating with investigators to determine the circumstances that led to the fire.
