Police operatives conducted the drug enforcement operation in Barangay 32, San Roque, Legazpi City on October 9, resulting in the arrest of five suspects identified by police aliases including "Pay," a 59-year-old man accused of maintaining the illicit facility.
Authorities recovered 105 grams of suspected methamphetamine with an estimated street value of 714,000 pesos during the raid. The confiscated substance was turned over to appropriate authorities for laboratory examination and proper documentation.
The operation forms part of ongoing law enforcement efforts targeting illegal drug trafficking networks in the Bicol region. Police said the drug den had been operating in the residential community, supplying narcotics to local users and dealers.
The arrested individuals face charges related to the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Investigators are determining whether the operation had connections to larger drug distribution networks in the area.
