ORION, Bataan — Authorities in Orion have arrested five individuals in connection with illegal drug distribution following an undercover buy-bust operation conducted Wednesday night in a remote village within the municipality.
The operation was carried out by the Orion Police Department after police conducted surveillance for approximately one week. Officers targeted the specific barangay where intelligence indicated ongoing sales of shabu, the local term for crystal methamphetamine.
Among those apprehended was a jobless woman. Police have not yet disclosed the identities of the other four suspects or provided details regarding the quantity of narcotics seized during the operation.
The arrests are part of ongoing law enforcement efforts to combat methamphetamine trafficking in Bataan province. The case has been turned over to appropriate authorities for further investigation and the filing of charges.
