Five BSF personnel injured in vehicle rollover on Jammu-Srinagar highway

Five Border Security Force (BSF) personnel sustained injuries when their vehicle overturned on the Jammu-Srinagar highway on Monday. The accident claimed Sub-Inspector Ghar Singh, driver Shamim Ahmed, and Constables Sunil Kumar, Parshtum Kumar, and Chandan Yadav among the injured.
The vehicle was traveling on the strategically critical highway that connects the Kashmir Valley with the Jammu region. Emergency response teams were mobilized to provide immediate medical assistance to the injured personnel at the scene.
All five injured BSF jawans were evacuated and transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. The exact circumstances leading to the vehicle's overturn are being investigated by the authorities.
The Jammu-Srinagar highway remains a critical artery for military and civilian traffic in the region. The road, which traverses challenging mountainous terrain, witnesses regular movement of security forces and commercial vehicles throughout the year.
