Five companies to tap primary market for nearly ₹2,600 crore in IPO push

Five companies are preparing to launch initial public offerings next week targeting a combined raise of approximately ₹2,600 crore from the primary market. The cohort includes EAAA India Alternatives, SFC Environmental Technologies, M K Sons Fine Jewels, BLS Polymers, and Bombay Coated and Special Steels, marking a continued acceleration in IPO activity after a robust month for new listings.

Merchant bankers indicate that several additional companies are in advanced stages of preparation for public market debuts. Gujarat Victory Forging, Milestone Gears, Avaada Electro, Swara Baby Products, Integris Medtech, and AGS Health are expected to announce their price band declarations and launch schedules by November 5, according to banking sources.

The timing reflects efforts by issuers to complete formalities before the extended Diwali holiday period impacts market operations. Business activity in Gujarat and other regions is anticipated to face disruptions from November 6 to 15 owing to the post-Diwali observance of Labh Pancham, prompting companies to accelerate their IPO timelines.

The upcoming flotations underscore sustained confidence in India's equity capital markets, which have witnessed significant primary market activity in recent weeks. Consistent deal flow at this scale demonstrates ongoing investor appetite and the continued attractiveness of the Indian primary market to companies seeking capital for expansion and operational needs.
