Five held for forging land documents and fraudulent property sales in Krishna

Authorities in Krishna district have arrested five persons in connection with an organized fraud involving the creation and sale of counterfeit land registration documents. The arrests followed investigations into multiple cases of property transactions conducted using forged paperwork, officials said.

The accused were allegedly operating a racket that produced duplicate and fabricated registration certificates, enabling them to conduct unauthorized land sales across the district. Police recovered a quantity of forged documents during raids on premises associated with the group.
