Five missing fishermen found safe in Oriental Mindoro

CALAPAN CITY — The Philippine Coast Guard confirmed Saturday that five fishermen reported missing after departing from Santa Cruz, Occidental Mindoro, have been found safe in the municipality of Sablayan.
The missing crew members were identified as Romnick Temenia, Ronelio Temenia, Arjhay Ortea, Aldrin Bonilia, and Agustin Ramirez. They were operating a fishing vessel when contact was lost, prompting authorities to launch a search and rescue operation.
The PCG's recovery of the five fishermen marks a successful conclusion to the search operation. Coast Guard personnel coordinated efforts to locate the vessel and its crew following the initial missing persons report.
