Flash flood kills nine in Nepal-Tibet border region
A devastating flash flood swept through the Himalayan border areas of Nepal and Tibet on Wednesday, claiming at least nine lives. The surge destroyed villages and damaged critical infrastructure including roads, bridges and hydroelectric projects.

The flash flood struck the remote border region without warning, washing away settlements and severing transport links across the mountainous terrain. Authorities reported widespread damage to villages in the affected areas, with rescue and recovery operations underway.
