Lazio's clinical display at the Stadio Nereo Rocco saw them capitalise on Sassuolo's numerical disadvantage to secure a commanding away win that propelled them to the summit. Floriani opened his goal-scoring account in memorable fashion during the emphatic six-goal haul, signalling the home side's defensive frailties.
Kenneth Taylor, Gustav Isaksen, Mattia Zaccagni and Tijjani Noslin also found the back of the net as Lazio's attacking prowess proved irresistible throughout the contest. The visitors' fluid movement and clinical finishing exploited spaces repeatedly, with Sassuolo's reduced squad unable to mount a sustained defensive resistance.
Sassuolo's dismissal proved decisive in the match's trajectory, though the home side did manage to register twice despite their defensive struggles. The result represents a significant statement of intent from Lazio in their quest for honours this season, cementing their position at the table's pinnacle following an impressive display of attacking football.
