Food poisoning outbreak hits Bihar village after golgappe consumption

An outbreak of food poisoning has struck Bhawl village in Ramnagar, Bagaha district, Bihar, following the consumption of golgappe by local residents. More than a dozen people from the same village reported sudden onset of illness, causing widespread concern in the community.

Approximately eight patients are currently receiving treatment at the Community Health Centre, while others have sought care at private hospitals in the area. Health officials confirmed that doctors have identified symptoms consistent with food poisoning across the affected individuals.

The incident has sparked alarm among residents regarding food safety standards in the region. Authorities have not yet disclosed the specific golgappe vendor or location where the contaminated food was sold, nor have they announced findings from preliminary investigations into the source of contamination.
