Food Safety Teams Seize 44kg of Unlabelled Products in Andhra Town

Food safety officials in Narasaraopet have seized 44 kilograms of unlabelled food items during a compliance inspection, marking another instance of enforcement action against traders selling substandard goods in violation of food safety regulations.

The seized products lacked proper labelling, packaging, and documentation required under food safety laws, making it impossible for consumers to verify their origins, ingredients, or expiry dates. Such unlabelled items pose significant health risks to the public, as they may contain adulterants or be manufactured under unhygienic conditions.
