Forest officials in the Jawadhu Hills region have launched a free coaching programme aimed at helping tribal aspirants prepare for competitive examinations. The initiative, coordinated by S. Gunasekaran, forest range officer at Jamunamarathur, seeks to enhance opportunities for tribal youth seeking government positions.
The forest department team has prioritised coaching for Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) examinations, recognising the significant number of vacancies reserved for tribal candidates in state government services. The programme represents an effort to bridge educational gaps and improve access to competitive exam preparation among marginalised communities in the region.
