Former Industrial Site Transformed Into Municipal Campus and Public Park

New Milford is advancing plans to repurpose a former brass manufacturing facility into a comprehensive municipal campus, marking a significant shift in how the town uses its industrial heritage sites.

The project represents the culmination of lengthy negotiations and legal proceedings that resulted in the town acquiring the contaminated property. Rather than allowing the site to remain dormant, local authorities have approved a phased development plan that will consolidate public services and reclaim the land for community benefit.
