Former Krrish Director Remanded Further as Investigation Continues

The Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court extended the remand of Janaki Siriwardhana yesterday, with Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama ordering her continued detention until November 20. Siriwardhana, who previously held the position of director at Krrish Company, appeared before the court as the investigation into allegations against her progresses.

During the proceedings, the court also directed that former parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa be produced before the bench at the next scheduled hearing. Rajapaksa, who had previously been granted bail, remains part of the ongoing investigation linked to the case.

The remand extension signals the continuation of inquiries by investigating authorities into matters related to Krrish Company. The court's decision to require Rajapaksa's appearance indicates his involvement remains under judicial scrutiny as the case develops through the magistrate's court system.
