Former minister denies requesting PM to drop graft case

The former human resources minister has clarified that he did not ask the Prime Minister to close his case, according to a letter he submitted to the office.
Instead, Saravanan requested that his case be thoroughly reviewed, while asserting that the graft allegations levelled against him lack merit. The move comes as he seeks to address the charges through proper channels.
