Former STAR deputy president Ellron Angin joins Gagasan Rakyat

Ellron Alfred Angin, who previously served as deputy president of STAR, has formally joined Gagasan Rakyat, marking another significant personnel shift within the region's political landscape. His appointment to the Pensiangan division committee signals the coalition's continued efforts to strengthen its organisational structure across Sabah.

The move comes as part of a broader wave of political realignment, with several former STAR party leaders and grassroots members transitioning to Gagasan Rakyat in recent months. The coalition has been actively recruiting experienced political figures to bolster its ranks ahead of future electoral contests.

Gagasan Rakyat, a component party within a larger political coalition, has been positioning itself as an alternative force in Sabah's competitive political environment. The appointment of established political figures such as Angin reflects the party's strategy to consolidate support and expand its influence at divisional levels across the state.
