Former Terengganu State Exco Member Roslee Daud Dies at 66

Roslee Daud, a veteran politician who represented the Bukit Besi constituency in the Terengganu State Assembly, died on Tuesday after suffering a heart attack. He was 66.

Daud had served two consecutive terms as the assemblyman for the Bukit Besi seat and held the position of state executive councillor during his tenure in the Terengganu administration.

His death marks the loss of a long-serving member of the state's political establishment. Bukit Besi, located in the Kuantan district of Pahang's neighbouring state, has been a significant constituency in East Coast politics.

The passing of Daud comes as a shock to colleagues and constituents who had worked alongside him during his years of public service in Terengganu state politics.
