Four arrested after stolen councilor's vehicle recovered in Nueva Vizcaya
Police in the Cagayan Valley region have arrested four suspects in connection with the theft of a town councilor's vehicle. The car, belonging to an Abulug town official, was stolen Monday and recovered the same day in Nueva Vizcaya.

Authorities arrested four men suspected of carjacking the vehicle of Abulug town councilor Carlo Vinagrera, 38, after the stolen car was intercepted in Santa Fe town, Nueva Vizcaya, according to police reports released Tuesday.
The vehicle was taken from Vinagrera, who hails from Libertad village in Abulug town, Cagayan province, on Monday. Despite the quick theft, law enforcement managed to recover the car and apprehend the suspects on the same day it went missing.
The recovery operation in Santa Fe demonstrates coordinated efforts between police units in the two neighboring provinces to address the carjacking incident. The four arrested individuals are currently in police custody pending further investigation and the filing of appropriate charges.
