Four arrested as police seize P800,000 worth of shabu in North Cotabato
Anti-narcotics authorities have arrested four individuals following the discovery of methamphetamine valued at approximately P800,000 during an early morning raid in Pigcawayan. The operation was conducted by Philippine Regional Operations Command-12 personnel on Tuesday.

Police Regional Office-12 director Brigadier General Alan Manibog confirmed that officers executed a search warrant at around 5 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, in Barangay North Manuangan, Pigcawayan, North Cotabato. The operation resulted in the apprehension of four suspects and the recovery of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu.
The seized contraband has an estimated street value of no less than P800,000, according to initial assessments by anti-narcotics operatives. The individuals arrested are currently facing charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The operation was part of ongoing law enforcement efforts by PRO-12 to combat illegal drug trafficking in the Soccsksargen region. Authorities have intensified anti-narcotics campaigns in recent months targeting major drug distribution networks operating in Mindanao.
