Four hospitalised after consuming toxic Datura leaf curry in Andhra Pradesh

Four individuals were rushed to a hospital in Kakinada district, Andhra Pradesh, after falling ill following the consumption of curry prepared from Datura leaves. The incident highlights the dangers of foraging wild vegetables without adequate knowledge of their identification and safety.

Datura species, commonly found across India, contain tropane alkaloids that can cause severe poisoning when ingested.
