The four convicted individuals—Umar Nisar, Rameez Ahmad Lone, Tanveer Ahmad Bhat, and Afshan Parvaiz Jarabi—have been sentenced with accompanying financial penalties. Umar Nisar received the highest fine of Rs 36,000, while Rameez Ahmad Lone was fined Rs 31,000. Tanveer Ahmad Bhat's penalty was set at Rs 23,000, and Afshan Parvaiz Jarabi was fined Rs 9,000.
The 'Voice of Hind' case marks part of India's broader counter-terrorism operations targeting ISIS recruitment and operational networks. The investigation uncovered links to the extremist organization's propaganda and organizational activities within the region.
