Fourteen Malaysian areas hit by unhealthy air quality readings
Air pollution levels have reached unhealthy levels across multiple locations in Malaysia, with the majority of affected areas concentrated in Sarawak. Several other regions, including parts of the Klang Valley and Sabah, have also recorded concerning air quality readings.

Unhealthy air quality index (API) readings were documented across fourteen areas of Malaysia, underscoring ongoing air quality concerns in the region. The majority of affected locations are situated in Sarawak, where environmental conditions have deteriorated significantly.
Beyond Sarawak, unhealthy API measurements were also registered in Putrajaya, Shah Alam, Nilai, and Politeknik Kota Kinabalu in Sabah. These readings indicate that air pollution issues extend across multiple states, affecting both urban and institutional areas.
