Free health screening camp reaches nearly 600 students in Anantapur

A free health camp conducted in Anantapur extended medical services to approximately 600 students and youth, offering a range of preventive health checks and consultations. The initiative was organized as part of foundation day celebrations by Nigama Foundation, bringing essential healthcare services to the local community.

Participants received complimentary blood grouping tests, haemoglobin screening, and diabetes assessments during the camp. Blood pressure monitoring was also made available alongside general health consultations to help attendees understand their baseline health status.

Beyond routine health checks, the camp featured specialized medical services including orthopaedic consultations and eye examinations. These additional services addressed specific health concerns among the student and youth populations, providing early detection opportunities for vision-related issues and musculoskeletal problems.

The comprehensive health camp reflects efforts to increase health awareness and preventive care access among younger demographics in the region. By combining routine screening with specialist consultations, the initiative aimed to equip participants with health information and early intervention opportunities.
