Fuel prices fall across the board in Malaysia this week

Petrol and diesel prices in Malaysia have moved lower in the latest weekly adjustment, reflecting softer global energy markets. RON97 petrol and unsubsidised RON95 have each dropped by 5 sen per litre, while diesel has declined by a larger margin of 10 sen per litre. The reductions represent a significant pullback from recent pricing levels across all fuel categories. These adjusted prices are effective from today through October 21, after which the government will reassess rates based on prevailing international crude oil trends and market conditions. The pricing changes follow Malaysia's weekly fuel price review mechanism, which takes into account movements in global petroleum benchmarks and currency fluctuations.
