Gautam Gambhir expressed his satisfaction with India's performance in the T20 International series against New Zealand, describing the victory as "incredible" despite the squad's compressed preparation schedule. The India head coach attributed the successful outcome to the team's ruthless approach and tactical execution on the field.
Gambhir highlighted that despite having less time to prepare compared to conventional series schedules, the Indian players demonstrated a level of intensity and aggression that proved decisive against their opponents. The coach's comments underscored how strategic mindset and player commitment compensated for any logistical constraints the team faced leading up to the series.
The series win represents a significant result for India's T20I programme, with the victory coming at a crucial juncture in the team's preparation for upcoming international commitments. Gambhir's assessment suggests that the team's approach to batting and bowling under pressure conditions was a key factor in their success against the New Zealand side.
