Gaming Authority yet to approve any online game under new law

The Online Gaming Authority of India (OGAI) has yet to grant registration to any online gaming operator under the country's new gaming regulations, according to disclosures from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity). As of September 1, the authority had received 201 complaints related to online gaming activities, indicating early adoption challenges in the sector's regulatory oversight.
