Residents of the Housing Development Colony in Jhansi witnessed an unconventional celebration of Ganesh Visarjan as devotees transported the idol of Lord Ganesha in grand style this week. The deity was adorned in royal regalia and placed on a designer Rolls-Royce automobile for the immersion procession, marking a departure from traditional modes of transport.
The procession proceeded through the colony accompanied by traditional percussion instruments and contemporary musical entertainment.
