Gauff's performance against the giant-killing Bejlek was clinical, with the American securing an early break and maintaining control throughout both sets to reach her second Cincinnati final appearance.
In the men's draw, Frances Tiafoe progressed past fellow American Brandon Nakashima 7-5, 6-3 to book a spot in the final against Sebastian Fils. Tiafoe's steady play in the first set proved decisive against Nakashima, while a more commanding second-set performance saw him through to the championship match.
The Cincinnati Masters semifinals confirmed an intriguing final lineup, with Pegula facing Gauff for the women's title and Tiafoe meeting Fils in the men's final. Both matches will determine the 2024 champions at the prestigious hard-court event held in Ohio.
