Gauff's performance against the giant-killing Bejlek was clinical, with the American securing an early break and maintaining control throughout both sets to reach her second Cincinnati final appearance.
In the men's draw, Frances Tiafoe progressed past fellow American Brandon Nakashima 7-5, 6-3 to book a spot in the final against Sebastian Fils. Tiafoe's steady play in the first set proved decisive against Nakashima, while a more commanding second-set performance saw him through to the championship match.
