Gauhati High Court Seeks Flood Damage Response from Assam, Nagaland

The Gauhati High Court has directed the governments of Assam and Nagaland, along with other concerned authorities, to respond to a public interest litigation petition filed regarding flood damage in the northeastern states. The PIL was filed by Congress leader Debabrata Saikia, seeking judicial intervention on matters related to flood management and disaster response in the two states.
