Gaurs Group acquires 35 acres along Yamuna Expressway for ₹700 crore

Gaurs Group, a prominent residential real estate developer operating across the National Capital Region, has secured substantial land holdings along the strategically important Yamuna Expressway corridor. The company acquired the three parcels from ICICI Bank in a competitive auction process, with the largest plot spanning 24 acres. Chairman Manoj Gaur confirmed the transaction, stating the acquisition was completed on an as-is, where-is basis.

The Yamuna Expressway, which provides critical connectivity between Noida and Greater Noida to Agra, has emerged as a key growth corridor for residential development. Gaurs Group is proceeding with settlement of various statutory obligations including EDC (External Development Charges) and farmer compensation dues associated with the land parcels.

The developer plans to focus its immediate development efforts on the larger 24-acre parcel, which it intends to transform into a substantial residential project. The acquisition aligns with the company's aggressive expansion roadmap, with Gaurs Group targeting the launch of three to four new housing projects across Noida and the Yamuna Expressway belt by March of next year, strengthening its market position in the region's residential segment.
