Germany has successfully completed a test of an Israeli-manufactured ballistic missile system, demonstrating the country's expanding defence arsenal at a time of elevated tensions with Russia. The trial represents part of Berlin's broader efforts to strengthen its military readiness and modernise its air defence infrastructure.
The test took place as German authorities intensified their focus on security threats following an alleged Russian drone incursion near Leipzig/Halle Airport last month.
