Students at Asti Primary School in Fatehpur participated in a special one-day administrative experience under the Mission Shakti programme, an initiative focused on women's empowerment in Uttar Pradesh. Selected girl students assumed key roles typically held by senior officials, including district magistrate and school principal positions. The exercise provided practical exposure to administrative responsibilities and decision-making processes. During the initiative, participants also engaged with teaching duties, underscoring the multifaceted nature of leadership roles. The programme reflects growing efforts across Indian educational institutions to build confidence and broaden horizons for girl students by allowing them to experience positions of authority and responsibility. School officials noted that such experiential learning opportunities help students envision diverse career pathways and develop essential leadership skills from an early age.
