Godrej Industries Group announced a major expansion strategy for Haryana on Monday, committing approximately ₹20,000 crore in fresh investments while building on its substantial existing presence in the state. The investment blueprint was formalized through a memorandum of understanding signed with the Haryana government in the presence of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
The group has already established a considerable footprint in Haryana, having invested around ₹12,000 crore to date and currently employing roughly 9,000 people across its business divisions. The latest commitment is expected to generate approximately 40,000 additional employment opportunities across the state's key industrial clusters.
Godrej Properties Limited, the group's real estate arm, will spearhead the expansion initiative. The subsidiary has invested approximately ₹11,000 crore in Haryana thus far and plans to commit an additional ₹16,000 crore by financial year 2027-28. The real estate developer operates 18 projects across major cities including Gurugram, Sonipat, Faridabad, Panipat and Kurukshetra, with upcoming developments projected to create over 11,000 jobs independently.
The announcement underscores continued investor confidence in Haryana's economic potential and industrial infrastructure, as major corporate groups accelerate capital commitments to the northern state.
