Gold and cash stolen from farmer's home in Tamil Nadu district

A brazen theft at a farmer's residence in Tiruvannamalai has prompted a police crackdown on criminal activity in the district. The burglars targeted the house and escaped with gold ornaments valued at 20 sovereigns along with ₹60,000 in currency notes.

The incident was reported to the local police, triggering an immediate response from the district law enforcement. Superintendent of Police M. Sudhakar took cognizance of the crime and ordered the formation of special investigation teams to pursue leads and apprehend those responsible for the theft.

The police are examining CCTV footage from the area and gathering statements from witnesses to establish a timeline of events and identify the suspects.
