PUTRAJAYA — The government has committed to establishing a joint monitoring mechanism with political parties to track progress on reform initiatives outlined in the confidence and supply agreement (CSA) with Bersatu, Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil said on Wednesday. The allocation of development funds for reforms under the CSA will be subject to this collaborative oversight framework, ensuring accountability and transparency in the implementation process. Fahmi emphasised the importance of shared responsibility between the government and parliamentary partners in fulfilling the reform agenda. The monitoring mechanism aims to provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of reform commitments and address any implementation challenges that may arise. This arrangement reflects the government's commitment to maintaining strong working relationships with its coalition partners and delivering on its reform pledges to the Malaysian public.
