Groww reported a sharp 54% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹725.65 crore for the quarter ended September 2026, as the Bengaluru-based fintech platform accelerated its financial performance. Total revenue expanded 47% to ₹1,501.53 crore during the same period, reflecting strong user engagement and transaction volumes across its platform.
A notable shift in the company's revenue composition signals a strategic pivot toward product diversification. Equity derivatives, which historically formed a significant portion of Groww's earnings, declined to 44.8% of total revenue from 56.9% in the corresponding quarter last year. This reduction underscores the platform's efforts to broaden its revenue streams beyond derivatives trading.
The performance reflects Groww's expansion into multiple financial segments, including mutual funds, stocks, commodities, and other investment products. By reducing concentration risk in any single revenue segment, the company is positioning itself for more sustainable long-term growth and improved financial resilience.
The results come as India's fintech sector continues to attract retail investors seeking accessible investment platforms. Groww's ability to grow profits at a faster rate than revenue suggests improving operational efficiency and better cost management across its expanding product portfolio.
