According to Ashok, the majority of the second-phase desilting operations have been completed successfully. However, he has flagged the need for immediate clearance of silt accumulation in culvert areas, which pose drainage challenges during heavy rainfall.
The Commissioner's directive emphasizes the importance of clearing silt deposits from culvert zones at the earliest to ensure proper water flow and prevent waterlogging in low-lying areas.
