A car covered entirely with lipstick kiss marks became the centre of attention in Gwalior after images of the decorated vehicle circulated on social media platforms. The car belonged to Aditya Sikrwar, whose girlfriend applied approximately 3,400 lipstick impressions across the vehicle's surface in a bid to participate in a viral international social media trend.
The couple spent over three and a half hours completing the stunt, with the girlfriend meticulously marking the car's exterior. The resulting images quickly gained traction online, attracting considerable attention from social media users across the region.
Local traffic police identified the vehicle at Thaatippur and took action against the decorated car. Authorities issued a fine of 5,500 rupees to the vehicle owner for the unauthorized markings and subsequently removed the lipstick impressions from the car's surface.
The incident underscores growing concerns among Indian law enforcement about viral social media trends that may violate traffic regulations or public conduct norms. While the couple's intent was lighthearted, the intervention by traffic authorities highlights authorities' focus on maintaining standards on public roads.
