Ha Tinh province has ramped up efforts to bring its agricultural and specialty products to wider markets by partnering with digital platforms and e-commerce providers. The initiative focuses on promoting more than 200 products branded under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) scheme, a government program designed to develop distinctive goods from rural communities.
The province is employing multiple strategies to increase product visibility and sales opportunities. Officials have organized Mega Live sessions broadcast from production areas, allowing consumers to view goods at their source while learning about manufacturing processes. These digital events serve to build consumer confidence and create direct connections between producers and buyers across Vietnam.
The push represents a broader effort by Ha Tinh to integrate its agricultural and traditional craft sectors with tourism development. By linking farm produce, OCOP-branded items, and handmade crafts through online channels, the province aims to create a comprehensive ecosystem that supports rural producers and strengthens the regional economy.
The digital strategy addresses longstanding challenges faced by small-scale producers in accessing national markets. By removing intermediaries and leveraging e-commerce infrastructure, Ha Tinh producers can reach customers more efficiently while maintaining better profit margins on their goods.
