Hakimi hat-trick powers PSG to dominant 5-1 victory over Le Havre

PSG delivered a clinical attacking display in their trip to Le Havre, with Moroccan fullback Hakimi emerging as the standout performer in a statement victory that underlined the capital club's credentials this season.

Hakimi's hat-trick capped a rampant team performance that saw PSG overwhelm their struggling hosts, who remain anchored to the foot of the Ligue 1 table. The fullback's threefold contribution highlighted the depth of attacking talent at coach Luis Enrique's disposal, with the side moving further clear of their title rivals.

The comprehensive margin of victory provided PSG with an emphatic response as the campaign reaches its midpoint, consolidating their position atop the standings. The result represents another significant statement of intent from the Parisian outfit as they pursue domestic glory.

Le Havre's defensive frailties were exposed throughout the contest, with the side offering little resistance to PSG's fluid attacking football. The hosts' lone goal offered scant consolation in what proved a difficult evening at the Stade Océane.
