Hanoi Law University has formalized cooperation with Deree College of the American College of Greece and Panteion University through memoranda of understanding, the Vietnamese Embassy in Greece announced. The agreements underscore both nations' commitment to deepening academic and professional exchanges in the legal field.

The partnerships are expected to facilitate student and faculty exchanges, joint research initiatives, and collaborative curriculum development between the Vietnamese and Greek institutions. Such cooperation typically enables legal professionals and academics from both countries to share expertise and gain international exposure to different legal systems and practices.

The agreements align with broader efforts to strengthen Vietnam-Greece bilateral relations across multiple sectors. Recent years have seen the two nations expand collaboration in areas ranging from labor cooperation to cultural dialogue and subnational partnerships.

The initiatives reflect Greece's growing interest in Southeast Asian markets and educational opportunities, while Vietnam continues to diversify its international academic partnerships. Legal education cooperation is seen as particularly valuable for preparing professionals equipped to handle cross-border business transactions and international legal matters in an increasingly interconnected region.
