Haryana allocates ₹104 crore for Manesar civic body office land

The Haryana government has sanctioned ₹104 crore for the acquisition of land in Manesar earmarked for a civic body office facility. The funds represent a significant step toward establishing dedicated administrative infrastructure in the industrial town located in Gurugram district.

As per the arrangement, the municipal corporation will facilitate the transfer of these allocated funds to the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC). The HSIIDC, a key state agency responsible for industrial development and infrastructure projects, will manage the land acquisition process.

Manesar, a major industrial hub in the National Capital Region, has emerged as a significant manufacturing and commercial centre. The establishment of a dedicated civic body office is expected to enhance municipal administration and service delivery in the region.

The release of funds underscores the state government's commitment to strengthening municipal governance infrastructure across its industrial clusters. Such administrative facilities are crucial for effective regulation and development of civic amenities in rapidly growing industrial areas.
