HCLTech to acquire Croatian RPA firm Robotiq.ai for €9 million

HCL Technologies announced Monday that HCLSoftware, its dedicated software business unit, will acquire Robotiq.ai, a Croatia-based enterprise robotic process automation (RPA) platform provider, for €9 million (approximately Rs 98 crore) in an all-cash deal.

The acquisition will be executed through HCL Technologies Austria GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of HCLTech, which will acquire 100 per cent of Robotiq.ai's outstanding equity. The transaction is anticipated to complete by the end of November 2026, according to regulatory filings.

HCLTech stated that the acquisition addresses growing enterprise demand for artificial intelligence systems capable of reasoning and executing complex tasks reliably within sophisticated business environments. By integrating Robotiq.ai's RPA capabilities, enterprises can now automate workflows in legacy applications and systems that lack adequate or available APIs, expanding the scope of AI-driven automation beyond traditionally connected platforms.

The move represents HCLSoftware's continued investment in automation technologies as organisations increasingly seek to modernise operations and streamline processes across their technology infrastructure. The acquisition complements HCLTech's existing portfolio of enterprise solutions designed for digital transformation.
